Blogging on books

I found this book to be a very interesting and quick read. It's a true story of a psychiatrist and his patient, whom he treats using past life therapy and how it changes both of their lives.

Avitars

You sure can get carried away creating an avitar. There are way too many choices and I could have spent more time playing around with it.

Conclusions

Yes, I would particpate in another discovery program.

I wish I could of had more time to explore and play with some of the tools, but now that I have had an introduction to them I hope to make some time to explore further. I hope that I can take some of the tools we learned about and continue to use them to learn more and build on what I've learned.

Wikis

I can see where wikis could be very useful for the sharing of information, seek help and learning about what works in other libraries. I think that it would be a great way to get feedback from programming and a useful tool for use in training, especially if it's hard to get all employees on different shifts to meet at the same time .

I found the Montana Book Club wiki very interesting. How come there isn't a list of Montana fiction?

Didn't have a current picture, so played around with one of the sample picures. Turned out pretty good.

Here are Brutus, Kira Sue and Betty Boop reading at the Library.
Uploading the picture was pretty easy, but it took me a little bit of time to figure out how to get to my blog. After I figured that out than it was fast and kind of fun. It would be a good way to share pictures with friends and family.

Tagging and Social Bookmarking

I can see where tagging could be useful, especially if you use more than one computer. By tagging your favorite sites, you would always have access to them without having to remember them or have them written down somewhere. Tagging would also make it easier to share your information with others who are interested in the same things you are, or who are researching the same topic. Even advertisers could make use of tagging to sell or launch a product of interest to a particular group or profession.
